My name is Yiannis Asteriadis and I am a Civil Engineer in Skopelos. I was born in 1964 and finished school in Skopelos before attending the Polytechnic School of the University of Thessaloniki. I worked as a Civil Engineer in Thessaloniki for two years before returning to Skopelos in 1991, to set up my own practice.

My responsibilities in Skopelos as a civil engineer are to prepare complete plans for the construction of homes and buildings and to ensure that these plans are accepted by the Planning Office of Skopelos and the proper construction permits are granted. A major part of my work is to oversee the construction work to make sure that the construction is carefully and skillfully completed. I am also contracted by the Municipality of Skopelos to plan and oversee public works.

The TEE of Volos (Technical Chamber of Commerce of Greece, City of Volos) has appointed me to represent them to appraise local property values in Skopelos Town and the other villages of the island and I collaborate with the mortgage department National Bank of Greece in the assessment of properties.

I also act officially as an Estate Agent and, because of my extensive professional background, reputation and vast knowledge of the island, can advise clients honestly and sincerely.

This website is designed to show my future clients properties currently available on the island and, if the client wishes to proceed, to advise and expedite a clean and legal purchase.

My office is located above the National Bank of Greece which is in the middle of the harbor front. .
